A great advantage of doing your microlighting training in Durban is the all-year-round sub-tropical weather, ideal conditions and because your training can be combined with a lot of fun in South Africa's premier holiday city. Fun in, on, and under the sea, - scuba diving and snorkeling, whale and dolphin watching, deep sea and shore fishing. Fun in the great Drakensberg Mountain range. Fun in the nearby game parks including the Tembe Elephant Park and the Hluhluwe Rhino Park. In addition to microlight training, you also have the opportunity to take in yachting lessons. And of course you can learn to surf off our golden beaches.
 The overall cost of a 30-hour (about thre weeks) training course is about R26 000 - R28 000 including the lessons themselves, accommodation, car hire is optional.
In considering the 'pros and cons' of microlight lessons is that up to 25 hours microlight training can count towards attaining your fixed-wing Private Pilots Licence.
